MADD Club Volunteers

MADD club is a music, art, dance and drama club for disabled young people aged 9-16 years. Siblings within the age range are also included. Each group has a qualified and experienced tutor leading the activity, supported by a small team of volunteers who spend time assisting with the activity, building confidence and self-esteem.

Drama group meets at the Princes Hall on a tuesday evening 5.30-6.30pm

Dance group meets at the Westend Centre on a Thursday evening 5.30-6.30pm

Training and support is available.


You need to be a patient, caring, understanding person, able to work both on your own initiative and as part of a team. You need plenty of energy and an interest in performing arts would be a bonus!

Experience of working with children and young people and/or people with disabilities is preferred but not essential.

Will take 14 and over if doing DoFE
