Treasurer

Good head for numbers? Few hours a month to spare? Interested in the concept of 'Men's Sheds'?

The Hook Shed are just starting up and need a Treasurer in place to take responsibility for guiding and advising the committee in relation to budgets, accounts and financial statements, coupled with supporting the financial aspects of our strategic development.

Ideally we would like someone with a good understanding of accounting procedures, with the financial qualifications or experience to contribute effectively to the organisation particularly as we are just getting off the ground and are starting from scratch in terms of financial procedures. Experience of working in a start-up business would be a massive bonus.

The time commitment is a few hours a month including regular committee meetings which are held in the evenings (currently in the pub :))
