Volunteer Mentor

As a volunteer mentor, you will be build a 1:1 relationship with a young person (14+) who’s facing challenges or instabilities. You would be carefully matched based on things like shared life experiences, hobbies, interests, careers aspirations and personality. You would meet for 1 hour a week at the school, for a minimum of a year. You would provide support, encouragement and a friendly listening ear. You can make a huge difference in their confidence and future choices, overcome obstacles, awaken ambition and much more! You would become their trusted adult.

We provide full training and ongoing support.

Just one hour a week can ignite the vital spark in a young person, helping them to find a path to a positive future. Change a life! Be the difference in ensuring young people don't have to navigate life's toughest challenges alone. It might just change your life too!

Skills

No previous experience is require, we look mentors from all walks of life, all backgrounds, all ages and with different life experience. We say that if you care - you qualify! Ideally you are:
