Silent Storms is a community-based organisation focused on bringing men together through connection, understanding and peer-to-peer support. Our work relies on the generosity, commitment and involvement of people, businesses and organisations who believe in making a positive difference within their community.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Charity Fundraising Volunteers to help us develop new fundraising opportunities, build relationships with supporters and sponsors, and support the continued growth of Silent Storms.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys being creative, meeting people and turning ideas into action. Whether supporting fundraising campaigns, helping organise community events, developing sponsorship opportunities, or building relationships with local businesses and organisations, your contribution will directly help us reach more people and provide valuable community support.

What You’ll Do As a Charity Fundraising Volunteer,you will help support the growth and sustainability of Silent Storms by:

• Supporting fundraising campaigns, activities and community events
• Helping develop and promote fundraising ideas and initiatives
• Assisting with grant applications, community funding opportunities and donation requests
• Helping create and promote sponsorship packages for local businesses and organisations
• Identifying and approaching potential sponsors and community partners
• Building positive, long-term relationships with sponsors, supporters and stakeholders
• Supporting sponsorship opportunities linked to events, awareness campaigns and community activities
• Helping organise fundraising events and community engagement activities
• Supporting donor engagement and recognising the contribution of supporters
• Sharing creative ideas to increase awareness, involvement and income generation
• Working with the team to develop sustainable ways to support the future of Silent Storms

Sponsorship & Partnership Opportunities

A key part of this role will be helping Silent Storms develop meaningful relationships with local businesses and organisations through sponsorship opportunities. Volunteers may support the creation and promotion of sponsorship packages that allow businesses to become actively involved in supporting our community work, raising awareness of men’s wellbeing and contributing to positive social change. This provides an opportunity to connect organisations with a cause that makes a real difference while helping Silent Storms continue to expand its reach and impact.

Previous fundraising, sales, sponsorship or business relationship experience is welcome but not essential — enthusiasm, creativity and a willingness to get involved are what matter most.
