Volunteer Facilitator Role (Basingstoke)

Creating Support, Connection and Positive Change

Silent Storms is a community-based organisation focused on bringing men together through connection, understanding and peer-to-peer support. We provide safe, supportive and confidential environments where men can talk openly about life’s challenges, share experiences, and build meaningful connections without judgement.

Our focus is on strengthening the local community by reducing isolation, encouraging open conversations, and creating opportunities for men to support one another in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

We have sessions in Aldershot and Farnborough and are now looking to start a session in Basingstoke.

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Volunteer Facilitators to support our weekly group sessions, community activities and awareness events, helping create positive, non judgemental spaces where men feel comfortable being heard, understood and supported.

Make a Difference

By becoming a Volunteer Facilitator, you will play an important role in strengthening the Silent Storms community and helping men feel heard, valued and connected. Through peer-to-peer support, non-judgemental conversations, awareness activities and community connection, you will help create a place where men can openly share experiences, build confidence, reduce isolation and take positive steps towards improved wellbeing. Together, we can continue building a stronger community where every man has the opportunity to be listened to, understood and supported.
