Grounds Maintenance Volunteers

Do you enjoy working outdoors? Have a passion for keeping spaces tidy and well-maintained? Fleet Town Football Club is looking for dedicated Grounds Maintenance Volunteers to help keep our pitch and ground in top condition.

Fleet Town Football Club has been part of the local town for over a century. Run by volunteers, our club boasts a stadium, grounds and clubhouse. We manage a range of adult teams, from our men’s and women’s first teams to Reserves, vets and U18s, and support a constantly growing youth development section. 

As a vital part of the local football community, we rely on volunteers to ensure our grounds are ready for match days, training, and events. Whether you have experience in gardening, general outdoor maintenance, or simply a good work ethic, we would love to have you on board!

We need help with:

• Maintaining the pitches, ensuring they’re in excellent condition for matches and training
• Landscaping, gardening, and cleaning tasks
• Preparation of areas for match days, ensuring everything is ready for teams and spectators
• Erecting and maintaining sponsorship signage

Skills

• No prior experience required — just a positive, can-do attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic knowledge of groundskeeping or DIY tasks is a plus, but not essential
• A love for maintaining spaces and supporting local football
