Sighted Guide Volunteer

Would you be available for an hour each week to guide an adult who is blind on an existing RVS group wellbeing walk?
Do you have experience of providing sighted guide assistance to someone with sight loss? If not, would you be willing to undertake some training?

If you answered yes to the above, we would love to hear from you!

We are looking for a volunteer to offer guide assistance to someone with sight loss so that they may take part in the wellbeing walk at Southwood Country Park. Our wellbeing walks support members of the Rushmoor community who want to increase their physical activity level and improve their overall wellbeing. The walks are led by two Volunteer Walk Leaders and this role would be in addition to this existing provision. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles
