Warehouse Assistant Volunteer

The warehouse role would benefit anyone who would like to stay in shape and gain some experience for their CV. This role is physically active as it involves carrying furniture by hand, but light duties also help and we often have volunteers helping with lighter items in the warehouse. It’s not just moving furniture around - there are other opportunities to help in our warehouse, such as booking in and pricing stock using tablets, building flat-packed furniture, and testing electrical items – you can try different roles. 

Skills

• You would need to be fit and healthy due to the manual aspect of the role.
• You will be required to complete the BHF Manual handling training and any other training deemed appropriate for the role. 
• You will need to be organised and reliable.
